PROACT® Suite 3.6 System Requirements


The following operating systems are supported: Windows NT 4.0 (SP6a), Windows 2000 and Windows XP

NOTE: All operating systems should have any critical updates as identified and distributed by Microsoft. RCI recommends the most current service pack available for your operating system.

Computer Requirements:
Intel Pentium class, 1 GHz or higher
256 MB RAM minimum
Graphic card capable of at least 1024 x 768 resolution

Operating System:

  • Microsoft Windows 2000
  • Microsoft Windows XP
  • Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 (SP 6a required)

Installation of all critical updates and service releases recommend but not required. Critical updates are those identified as such by Microsoft and made available via the Microsoft website.

Hard Disk:
Hard disk space required to install: 160 MB
Hard disk space required: 70 MB

Printer:
A printer, which is shown as compatible on the Microsoft Hardware Compatibility List (HCL) for the operating system, that is in use on the users machine. Generally the printer must use a Microsoft driver rather then an OEM driver, exceptions may exist to the driver rule. This HCL list is available at www.microsoft.com.

Input Device:
Microsoft mouse or compatible pointing device

Other:
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or later
Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) version 2.7 or higher
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0

Enterprise Edition Additional Requirements:
Servers and clients must be equipped with 1 gbps Network Interface Cards or better
SQL Server 2000 or above, OR
Oracle 8 or above
Database initial size should be 100MB


 

PROACT® RCA Software Training:

The objective of this software training is to assist the user in understanding the conceptual idea behind the PROACT® RCA software application and familiarize them with its functionality. Upon completion of this course, the user will have the skills to complete a thorough Root Cause Analysis within their organization.
