Challenging existing mind-sets is the hallmark of Reliability Center, Inc.
RCI has observed that most of our clients have tremendous potential, but that the potential of these organizations is often blocked by a fixed view of how things should be done. Yesterday's ways do not lead to tomorrow's success. Today's business world is changing faster than ever before, competition comes from every direction, communication is worldwide instantaneously, problems cannot wait for answers. What is often called for is a change in thinking, by challenging self limiting mind-sets.
We offer new and different ways of looking at client's operations and problems. And especially, at the people who are most involved. We work to unearth the heart of their problems from systems to human to latent and physical root causes. Helping you to develop recommendations that will have a long term impact. Our Reliability approach has been constantly refined and developed so that today it is applicable to any organization.

Our Present:
The Reliability Center, Inc., will carry on the work of Charles Latino by his children, Robert Latino, Mark Latino, Diane Gordon, Julie Clarke and Ken Latino, who have also been active in supporting the Maintenance and Reliability community over the past 25 years.
Mark Latino is President of Reliability Center, Inc. (RCI).
Mr. Latino came to RCI after 19 years in corporate America. During those years a wealth of reliability, maintenance, and manufacturing experience was acquired. He worked for Weyerhaeuser Corporation in a production role during the early stages of his career. He was an active part of Allied Chemical Corporation's (now Honeywell) Reliability Strive for Excellence initiative that was started in the 70s to define, understand, document, and live the reliability culture until he left in 1986. Mr. Latino spent 10 years with Philip Morris primarily in a production capacity that later evolved into a reliability engineering role. He is a graduate of Old Dominion University and holds a BS Degree in Business Management that focused on Production & Operations Management.

of the Industry channel. Mr. Latino continues to facilitate RCA in many corporations throughout the United States and Internationally providing a vast knowledge of Best Practices for Industry. Mr. Latino's movie presentations can be found in our Industry Channel movie demo page.
Robert J. Latino is CEO of Reliability Center, Inc. (RCI).
Mr. Latino received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Robert has been facilitating RCA & FMEA analyses with his clientele around the world for over 25+ years and has taught over 20,000 students in the PROACT® Methodology. Mr. Latino is co-author of numerous seminars on FMEA, Opportunity Analysis and RCA as well as co-designer of the national award winning PROACT Suite Software Package. Robert has also prepared many movie demos that take one through the beginning and understanding of our Methodology and software. These can be found in the movie demo area for Healthcare and Industry.
Mr. Latino is an author and co-contributor to several books and articles during his career. Robert has also published a paper entitled "Optimizing FMEA and RCA Efforts in Healthcare" in the ASHRM Journal [ASHRM Journal, 2004, Volume 24, no 3, pages 21-28]. Bob's latest HC published article in "Journal of Healthcare Risk Management, Volume 29, Number 3. Title: Enterprise Risk Management - In healthcare, is the human being an asset or liability?Mr. Latino presented a paper entitled “Root Cause Analysis Versus Shallow Cause Analysis: What's the Difference?" at the ASHRM 2005 National Conference. He has been published in numerous trade magazines on the topic of Reliability, FMEA, Opportunity Analysis and RCA as well as a frequent speaker on the topic at domestic and international trade conferences. Robert co-authored a cover story paper entitled "MRIs: A Need for Risk Management and Patient Safety" published in Materials Management for Healthcare magazine in January 2006.
